Last year most property sales in Dryburn involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £162,600. Detached properties sold for an average price of £293,112, while terraced properties fetched £132,817.
Dryburn, with an overall average price of £179,883, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Durham (£180,139), but was more expensive than Gilesgate (£146,908) and cheaper than Nevilles Cross (£265,427).
During the last year, sold prices in Dryburn were 13% down on the previous year and similar to 2014 when the average house price was £179,611.
