Last year most property sales in Forhill involved terraced properties which sold for on average £121,154. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £302,500, while detached properties fetched £444,000.
Forhill, with an overall average price of £206,125, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Birmingham (£201,953), but was more expensive than Kings Norton (£193,976) and cheaper than Kings Heath (£219,659).
During the last year, sold prices in Forhill were 4% down on the previous year and similar to 2008 when the average house price was £201,529.
There were only 24 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
