Most of the sales in Gants Hill over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £505,835. Flats had an average sold price of £263,621 and semi-detached properties averaged at £632,333.
Gants Hill, with an overall average price of £478,918 was more expensive than nearby Ilford (£419,442), Aldborough Hatch (£423,704) and Fullwell Cross (£429,304).
In the past year house prices in Gants Hill were 8% up on the year before and 28% up on 2015 when they averaged at £374,316.
