Glasgow and Surrounding Areas, with an overall average price of £161,872, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Central Scotland (£164,088), but was more expensive than South West Scotland (£138,936) and cheaper than Edinburgh and Lothian (£247,422). The most expensive area within Glasgow and Surrounding Areas was East Renfrewshire (£260,623) and the cheapest was West Dunbartonshire (£121,541).

Overall sold prices in Glasgow and Surrounding Areas over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and 31% down on the 2006 level of £236,020.
