Last year most property sales in Glastonbury involved terraced properties which sold for on average £219,385. Detached properties sold for an average price of £333,675, while semi-detached properties fetched £230,468.
Glastonbury, with an overall average price of £241,031 was more expensive than nearby Street (£226,952), but was cheaper than Wells (£272,864) and Somerton (£258,788).
During the last year, sold prices in Glastonbury were 6% up on the previous year and 17% up on 2007 when the average house price was £206,217.
