Most of the sales in Goudhurst over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £857,500. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £445,714 and terraced properties averaged at £302,200.
Goudhurst, with an overall average price of £578,386, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Lamberhurst (£580,387), but was more expensive than Horsmonden (£518,330) and Cranbrook (£459,223).
In the past year house prices in Goudhurst were 9% down on the year before and similar to 2013 when they averaged at £576,339.
