The majority of sales in Harwell during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £541,371. Flats sold for an average of £317,630, with semi-detached properties fetching £352,781.
Harwell, with an overall average price of £418,231, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Chilton (£405,296), but was more expensive than Didcot (£304,998) and cheaper than East Hendred (£598,187).
Overall sold prices in Harwell over the last year were 6% up on the previous year and 6% up on the 2008 level of £396,291.
