The majority of sales in Leigh during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £968,250. Terraced properties sold for an average of £467,000, with semi-detached properties fetching £405,000.
Leigh, with an overall average price of £720,571 was more expensive than nearby Reigate (£563,812), Dorking (£420,586) and Redhill (£376,074).
Overall sold prices in Leigh over the last year were 23% up on the previous year and 21% down on the 2010 level of £916,604.
