Most of the sales in Marden over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £551,369. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £243,605 and semi-detached properties averaged at £399,525.
Marden, with an overall average price of £418,902 was more expensive than nearby Staplehurst (£349,948) and Coxheath (£297,720), but was cheaper than Horsmonden (£609,222).
In the past year house prices in Marden were 3% down on the year before and 13% up on 2015 when they averaged at £370,670.
