Most of the sales in Melbourn over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £544,813. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £374,381 and terraced properties averaged at £408,975.
Melbourn, with an overall average price of £443,693 was more expensive than nearby Foxton (£278,876), but was cheaper than Harston (£506,474) and Haslingfield (£466,066).
In the past year house prices in Melbourn were 3% down on the year before and 16% up on 2015 when they averaged at £382,021.
