Last year most property sales in Nailsea involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £299,102. Detached properties sold for an average price of £444,901, while terraced properties fetched £276,235.
Nailsea, with an overall average price of £335,409, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Clevedon (£329,308), but was cheaper than Portishead (£360,112) and Long Ashton (£428,424).
During the last year, sold prices in Nailsea were similar to the previous year and 10% up on 2016 when the average house price was £305,661.
