North East Scotland, with an overall average price of £207,102 was more expensive than nearby Highlands and Islands (£172,852) and Central Scotland (£165,013), but was cheaper than Edinburgh and Lothian (£251,666). The most expensive area within North East Scotland was Aberdeenshire (£207,053) and the cheapest was Aberdeen (County) (£199,256).
Overall sold prices in North East Scotland over the last year were similar to the previous year and 10% down on the 2006 level of £229,540.
