Pleasley Vale, with an overall average price of £255,440 was more expensive than nearby Mansfield (£159,980), Mansfield Woodhouse (£146,600) and Shirebrook (£119,092).
During the last year, sold prices in Pleasley Vale were 5% down on the previous year and 30% down on 2005 when the average house price was £365,000.
There were only a small number of properties sold in the last 2 years, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
