Last year most property sales in Pontyclun involved detached properties which sold for on average £259,994. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £144,958, while semi-detached properties fetched £196,800.
Pontyclun, with an overall average price of £204,135, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Brynsadler (£208,400) and Talbot Green (£199,376), but was cheaper than Miskin (£250,622).
During the last year, sold prices in Pontyclun were 3% up on the previous year and similar to 2015 when the average house price was £202,733.
