Most of the sales in Porthcawl over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £303,337. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £203,264 and terraced properties averaged at £178,004.
Porthcawl, with an overall average price of £229,629 was more expensive than nearby South Cornelly (£170,181), but was cheaper than Nottage (£277,500) and Newton (£259,209).
In the past year house prices in Porthcawl were similar to the year before and 7% up on 2015 when they averaged at £215,303.
