Most of the sales in Redbridge over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £559,770. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £562,286 and flats averaged at £210,444.
Redbridge, with an overall average price of £502,107, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Cranbrook (£487,102), but was more expensive than Clayhall (£467,368) and cheaper than New Wanstead (£645,838).
In the past year house prices in Redbridge were 9% up on the year before and 23% up on 2015 when they averaged at £408,679.
