Last year most property sales in Sandal involved detached properties which sold for on average £399,970. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £198,040, while terraced properties fetched £104,835.
Sandal, with an overall average price of £266,744 was more expensive than nearby Walton (£180,546) and Wakefield (£195,426), but was cheaper than Newmillerdam (£381,211).
During the last year, sold prices in Sandal were 8% up on the previous year and 29% up on 2015 when the average house price was £207,106.
