Scot Hay, with an overall average price of £137,450 was more expensive than nearby Silverdale (£128,340), but was cheaper than Newcastle Under Lyme (£157,906) and Keele (£204,613).
During the last year, sold prices in Scot Hay were 18% down on the previous year and 51% down on 2008 when the average house price was £282,500.
