Most of the sales in Stockton-On-Tees over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £132,687. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £98,086 and detached properties averaged at £215,274.
Stockton-On-Tees, with an overall average price of £138,773, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Norton (£136,947), but was cheaper than Fairfield (£152,957) and Hartburn (£172,593).
In the past year house prices in Stockton-On-Tees were 5% up on the year before and 7% up on 2007 when they averaged at £130,294.
