Most of the sales in Swansea (County of) over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £154,782. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £123,085 and detached properties averaged at £268,616.
Swansea (County of), with an overall average price of £170,483, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bridgend (County of) (£164,387), but was more expensive than Neath Port Talbot (£125,690) and Rhondda Cynon Taff (£125,665). The most expensive area within Swansea (County of) was Rhossili (£536,667) and the cheapest was Swansea Enterprise Park (£88,000).
In the past year house prices in Swansea (County of) were 3% up on the year before and 8% up on 2015 when they averaged at £158,099.
