Most of the sales in The Edge over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £159,586. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £127,098 and detached properties averaged at £254,090.
The Edge, with an overall average price of £159,682 was more expensive than nearby Oldham (£136,621) and Newton Heath (£121,432), but was cheaper than Manchester (£202,524).
In the past year house prices in The Edge were 13% up on the year before and 21% up on 2016 when they averaged at £132,464.
