Last year most property sales in Wirral involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £182,617. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £122,401, while detached properties fetched £310,372.
Wirral, with an overall average price of £187,547, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bebington (£180,956), but was cheaper than Spital (£248,284) and Heswall (£318,552).
During the last year, sold prices in Wirral were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2016 when the average house price was £179,861.
