Most of the sales in Wombourne over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £329,190. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £201,563 and terraced properties averaged at £189,811.
Wombourne, with an overall average price of £246,671, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wall Heath (£239,304), but was more expensive than Penn (£197,792) and Bobbington (£207,800).
In the past year house prices in Wombourne were similar to the year before and 13% up on 2007 when they averaged at £218,346.
