You asked, we delivered! Map View feature in MyRightmove is here

Rightmove is the place for home hunters to find their happy and we have a whole bunch of ways to make the process simpler for you.

From View Notes to Keyword Sort and Draw a Search, we have several innovative features to help you find your next home – and now we have another exciting tool to show you.

The Map View tool, recently launched in MyRightmove, is up and running after you asked us to build it. To use the feature, all you need to do is create a free Rightmove account, or log in to your existing account.

From there, you’ll be able to see all of your saved property searches on a map – making it really quick and simple to work out where the properties you’re interested in viewing are based.

At a glance, you can see how close they are to your existing home, your place of work or your child’s school.

You can create an account here: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/register.html

Matt Renton, Product Team Lead at Rightmove, said: “This is something we know people have been asking for a while, so we hope it will help home-hunters find the place they’re looking for more easily. When you save properties they appear as normal on your saved properties page in MyRightmove, and there is now an option (on both mobile and desktop) where you can click ‘View on map’ and this will plot the properties you have saved on a map in the locations they’re based in. You can still do the same actions in map view that you can on the list view, such as add notes, go to the property details page, contact agents and so on.”

Setting up a MyRightmove account is free and gives you access to a number of features, such as saving properties, setting up property alerts and saving your own search areas.

To get up to speed on all our other exciting features, you can read more about them here.
