A former Manchester United player has put his 7 bedroom Ipswich home on the market for £3.5million.

The stunning property comes complete with everything a footballing legend could ever ask for, including a swimming pool, tennis court (which of course doubles up as a 5-a-side football pitch), home entertainment system and a double garage… there’s even a seriously impressive tree house in the back garden!


Highfield House, which boasts great views of the River Deben, is around a hundred years old and nestled in over three acres of land, all approached via a private driveway. The décor has been tastefully done (quite unusual for the average footballer’s home!), with solid oak throughout, open fireplaces and a pretty luxurious bathtub.


The celebrity vendor is said to be looking for something closer to his hometown since t his managing gig for the local team ended a few years ago.
