Live like a Beatle!

The home where half of the legendary rock group, The Beatles, once called home is available to rent on Rightmove for £1,400 per week.

The flat in Whaddon House in Knightsbridge (bit disappointed it’s not on Penny Lane or Abbey Road) was shared by George Harrison and Ringo Starr back in 1964 during the first year of the first world tour. The pair moved into the property at the height of Beatlemania with George’s future wife, model Pattie Boyd, on the recommendation of their manager Brian Epstein. Epstein was notorious for throwing lavish rock and roll parties on the rooftop and is thought to have wanted George and Ringo nearby to keep an eye on them.

The three-bedroom pied-a-terre boasts two bathrooms, a balcony and underground parking, all set within a securely gated mews. It was also where all The Beatles famously met for a cup of tea before they headed over to Buckingham Palace to receive their MBEs!
