Liz Hurley sells her country pad
Elizabeth Hurley once said that she wanted to live the countryside dream, and boy did she make that dream a reality.
The model has put her countryside pile on the market for £6million, which comes complete with nine bedrooms, acres upon acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands, and numerous outbuildings including a ‘party barn’.
Liz bought the property in 2003 (along with hundreds of farmyard animals) after the birth of her son Damian, and lived in the family home until moving to her current abode in Herefordshire.
The period property, Ampney Knowle, is situated in Cirencester and naturally is made from Cotswold stone. The farmhouse boasts six bathrooms, four reception rooms and two cottages, one of which is a converted stable block – wonder if Hugh has ever been a guest?
Looking at the listing on Rightmove, the actress’s style is evident throughout… a stuffed alligator, an open-mouthed tiger skin draped on a grand piano, topless statues and a vast portrait of herself and her son really show off her eclectic taste.
