The half a million pound garage!

Any Londoner knows that parking in the capital can be nightmare. But over half a million pounds to park your car sounds a bit extreme!

Take a cruise around.

Tucked away in an alleyway just off King’s Road, Chelsea sits a somewhat shabby garage currently available on Rightmove with a guide price on £550,000.

But here’s the catch… The garage sits on a plot of land that has been granted planning permission for a single storey (plus basement), 2 bedroom property.

Gary Murphy of Allsop who are auctioning the property on 30th October said:
“This could turn out to be the highest price paid for a single garage in the capital.  But then again it does have planning permission for a house, and what a great opportunity to build your own home just off Chelsea’s, King’s Road.”

So what may appear to be an extortionate fee to park you vehicle, could in fact be a nicer little earner in one of London’s most desirable areas.
