This month saw what’s said to be ‘the world’s smallest apartment’ come onto the market. Once a former porter’s closet, the studio property measures just 5m2!
The compact apartment is up for sale for a whopping £43,000 in Rome’s Piazza di Sant’ Ignazio overlooking a stunning Renaissance church. It consists of a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and a small sleeping platform with just enough room for a single bed – no dinner parties there then!
