These are the top five most-viewed properties on Rightmove so far this year, including a castle from TV show Grand Designs and an £18.75m pad with a European Tour golf course at the end of the garden.

Our data scientists have totted up each click to reveal these properties as the most popular homes on the UK’s number one property website in 2019.

Rightmove property expert Miles Shipside said: “It’s always fascinating to see which properties have generated the most public interest and it’s not difficult to see why these five homes are so popular.

“Whether it’s home-hunters looking for design inspiration or people who’re curious to glimpse inside top-of-the-market properties, these astoundingly impressive homes each has something special about them.”

It’s no surprise to see this incredible castle property from the 2018 TV series of Grand Designs in the top 10 most viewed homes of 2019 so far. The Grade II listed folly was originally built way back in 1769 by Sir John Vanhattem as a showcase for his extensive fossil collection, but the latest owners have transformed the two-bedroom home into something even more special.

From the bright and inviting kitchen breakfast room to the top floor terrace that enjoys breathtaking 360-degree views of the local countryside, this is one rather special home.
