5 castles worthy of The Traitors
With the third season of BBC hit show The Traitors coming to an end this week, we couldn’t resist a look round some showstopping castles that wouldn’t look out of place on the set of the show. From estates with large grounds perfect for hosting the prize-winning ‘missions’, to homes with plenty of nooks to discuss who we think might be a Traitor…
Plus, we spoke to over 1000 members of our research panel, to see whether they’d ever ‘bent the truth’ when moving, implementing a strategy befitting of the Traitors to try and secure the home they want. And it seems the spirit of deception isn’t just confined to the round table…
Almost one in four (24%) of the people we asked admitted to pretending they weren’t interested in a home to try and negotiate on price. Plus, 16% of the people we spoke to have previously told a fib about their reasons for moving.
Our Chief Data Officer, Steve Pimblett, says: “The latest insights from our research panel shows that many home-movers are trying to keep their cards close to their chest when it comes to property roundtable discussions. Some try to keep a poker face about how much they truly like a property, while others might be trying to avoid unwanted questions about their reasons for moving.”
