Red-fronted terraced house

Uncle Bryn’s house from BBC TV show ‘Gavin and Stacey’ is for sale

The coastal town of Barry is known for its sandy beaches, seaside fairground and leafy parks. And of course, as the setting of award-winning TV series, Gavin and Stacey.

The show ran for three series from 2007 to 2010, as well as *that* cliffhanger Christmas special in 2019. It followed the coming together of the two eponymous characters’ families: Gavin’s, from Billericay in Essex, and Stacey’s, from Barry in Glamorgan. And now, the home of the much-loved and eccentric character ‘Uncle Bryn’, played by comedian Rob Brydon, has been listed for sale.

The 3-bedroom terraced house is found in the heart of the town of Barry, and is listed for sale with Chris Davies Estate Agents. The new owner might even consider setting up their own home gym in the house, as Uncle Bryn did in Series 2, when it became ‘the the talk of the street’.

Take a closer look at the home for your chance to own a bit of TV history…
