A survey by QS in 2012 unveiled the best places to live in the world if you are a student.
So how did the UK fare? According to the survey, London is the second best city to live in as a student and was the only UK city to rank in the top 10.
So what makes a city rank highly for students?
You may think London is an expensive city to study in but in 2010 The NatWest Student Living Index ranked London as the most cost effective city to live in as a student as part time work wages can offset the expenditure. There are lots of other positives too:
