Rightmove is back on TV!

Rightmove, the UK’s number one property website, hit TV screens once again over the Christmas and New Year period.

Check it out here!

Rightmove’s television advert launced on December 23rd, running over a seven week period, and is an edited version of the Rightmove Safari campaign including a new voiceover by Joanna Lumley.

Rightmove director Miles Shipside comments: “For many years now Rightmove have been using television advertising around Christmas and the New Year period in order to raise the profile of our member agents for the all-important January market. Last year’s television campaign triggered record levels of traffic on the Rightmove site and we are hopeful of similar activity again this year.”

This is the fourth time this year that Rightmove have advertised on national television, on top of the Rightmove iPhone app and iPad app being featured in Apple’s recent television advertising campaigns. Rightmove also plan to launch a brand new television advertising campaign later in 2011.

Shipside adds: “Television advertising forms a key part of our promotional activity. The exposure we have received through advertising consistently throughout 2010 has allowed us to increase our market share of pages among the top four property portals to over 83%. We will be looking to continue growing this lead even further in 2011 to ensure that Rightmove member agents are in front of the largest possible online audience of buyers, sellers, renters and landlords in the UK.”
