Live In Britain’s Most Haunted House
It’s Friday the 13th! One of the unluckiest days of the year, and Britain’s most haunted home is on the market, if you dare to take a tour!
Following a string of events that have happened, many people now believe Friday 13th to be jinxed, so try and avoid any catastrophes when the date comes around.
We have found this eerie home, known locally as ‘The Cage’. This two-bedroom cottage in Clacton-On-Sea in Essex has a seriously kooky history – having been used as a medieval witches’ prison hundreds of years ago.
The building even served as a holding cell for infamous local ‘witch’, Ursula Kemp, who was tried and hanged for witchcraft back in 1582 and stayed at ‘The Cage’ ahead of her execution.
It was eventually converted into a residential building during the 1800’s, but the many strange occurrences since then have kept it in the headlines.
The cottage has featured in numerous TV shows and articles about the most haunted buildings in the country, after residents who have lived there complained of ghostly goings-on.
Do you think you could live in ‘The Cage’? Or are you too superstitious to even step foot in the property?
