Inspiration Wednesday – Christmas Edition!
For this week’s #InspirationWednesday we have decided to do something with a festive theme to get us all ready for December 25th! We have found several properties in different places around the UK that have something to do with Christmas, and here are our top 6!
1.
This amazing five bedroomed property is located in the midst of Christmas Common in Oxfordshire. It has an amazing garden area (perfect for the reindeer to graze!) and its own gym area to sweat off all those mince pies and Quality Streets! Oxford itself is full of festive cheer, with a magical Christmas market and many carol services to attend.
2.
One of the best things about Christmas time is being able to decorate your home with tinsel, baubles and lights – the more the better! And a festive wreath, complete with holly berries, on the front door would be very fitting for this house, located on Holly Terrace in Troedyrhiw. There are also loads of fab festive events in this part of Wales, including a steam train ride that takes you to visit Santa in his grotto.
3.
This stunning four bedroomed cottage is located on the magical Berry Hill in Gloucestershire. Its large garden provides the perfect place for Father Christmas to land his sleigh, whilst the stone fireplace in the living room is an idea place to hang up the stockings and leave treats for Rudolf. Gloucestershire itself is fully committed to the festive season, with an ‘Enchanted Christmas’ celebration at Westonbirt, Winter Wonderland at Prinknash, and a Santa’s Grotto at Cattle County.
4.
One of the most magical parts of Christmas is imagining Father Christmas flying around the world on his sleigh lead by reindeers. This property in Edinburgh embodies this Christmas spirit with its apt name of Sleigh Drive. Edinburgh itself is preparing for the holidays with ice rinks, grottos, and Christmas pantos – magical!
5.
Christmas is the season to eat, drink, and be merry – and what better way to do this than by eating lots of yummy food?! Turkey, pigs in blankets, Christmas pudding, yule log, mince pies – the list is endless! This two bedroom home fits in well with this theme, situated on Pudney Pie Lane, also in Gloucestershire.
6.
Last, but not least, this three bedroomed property in London is located on the magically named Elf Row. It has a beautiful open plan living area, complete with a fireplace large enough for Father Christmas to bring your presents down! London itself is definitely one of the most festive places in the country at Christmas time, with countless things to do, such as visiting Winter Wonderland, going ice skating, and even going to the theatre to see the fabulous musical version of the famous Christmas film Elf.
