Inspiration Wednesday – Dundee
This week’s #InspirationWednesday is Dundee in Scotland. With the second highest population density in Scotland, the city has still maintained a rural and spacious feel. The country’s first UNESCO City of Design offers an eclectic mix of culture and heritage.
There’s loads to do in Dundee, from getting on board the RRS Discovery and experiencing the life of Captain Scott, to visiting McManus Art Gallery and Arbroath Abbey. There are a variety of educational institutes, including two universities and a world famous teaching institute, giving the city a year-round buzz.
The bustling town centre and port is a great base, though, to explore the wider area. The beautiful university town of St Andrews is nearby, as well as some pretty spectacular walking routes and, of course, some of the best golf courses in the UK.
