Spain
Welcome to Sun-Drenched Spain
It’s not just Spain’s average 11 hours of sun a day compared to the UK’s six that make it one of the most popular getaways for British holidaymakers, retirees and families, but the comforting familiarity that makes it a magnificent home away from home. Amidst the breathtaking coastal scenery lies a country of culture, and soul that’s abundantly welcoming and wholly intriguing – cuisine packed with flavour and home-grown goodness, well preserved ancient cities teeming with history, a diverse landscape offering adventure to everyone from nature lovers to extreme-sports enthusiasts, and the tangible spirit of Spain, evident in the way life is celebrated on these shores.
With so much to explore – some areas are a mere 2.5 hours by plane – it’s clear why so many choose to buy property in Spain to use as their ultimate weekend getaway or place to retire with over 300,000 Brits reportedly living in the country right now. With Spain’s AVE high speed train that reaches speeds of up to 310km/h, travel is easier than ever.
