Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Bath is a very pleasant place to live, with good access to independent shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and open spaces. The city centre is within walking distance, and there are good rail links to Bristol, London and the wider South West. Local buses are available, although reliability and frequency can vary, especially outside peak routes. The immediate area is convenient, particularly for access to the city centre, river paths and local amenities. The main drawbacks are parking pressure, traffic at busy times, and some noise from nearby roads, construction or building works. Bin collections are generally manageable, though communal waste areas can become untidy if residents do not use them properly. Overall, it is a convenient and attractive area, but not without the usual city-centre pressures.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management have generally been approachable and responsive on day-to-day issues, especially the on-site team. However, larger problems involving external works, noise, disruption or compensation have often taken longer to resolve, with communication that can feel reactive rather than proactive
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how hot the flats can become in summer, and how much external noise affects day-to-day living. The road is loud, Roseberry Studio can create late-night party noise, and the temporary fire station adds further disruption. I would also have wanted clearer information about the duration and impact of scaffolding and external works before moving in.
Manager's response1Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed the location, quality of the apartments, and your experience with the on-site team. We do want to acknowledge the ongoing works on the Mill. These are essential works, and they have been clearly communicated to residents, including the expected completion date. We understand they can be disruptive, but they are working to keep impact to a minimum. The temporary fire station is also noted - it is a short-term arrangement, and we can confirm they do not use sirens when leaving the development. We’re sorry to hear that noise, heat, and periods of construction have affected your experience. While some of this is part of city-centre living, your feedback on communication and overall impact is appreciated and will be taken on board as we continue to improve.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We have great experience whilst staying in Springwharf. Accessible to shops, park, bus station and very near to the city centre. Our flat has a nice view , great for hosting and having friends around.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very helpful and professional in helping with issues.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Not everyone has a garden area thats great for hosting with your family and friends. We love our stay here in Springwharf
Manager's response4Thank you for your kind feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you’ve enjoyed living at Spring Wharf, especially the modern apartment, location, views, and your positive experience with the on-site team. We’re sorry to hear about your bike theft from the storage area. We appreciate your suggestion regarding CCTV in this space, which we will take into consideration. Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is very pleasant and convenient. There is a good range of shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants within walking distance, as well as green spaces nearby which are great for relaxing or exercising. Public transport links are reliable and make commuting easy. The street itself is generally quiet, with minimal traffic noise and no issues with anti-social behaviour. Parking is manageable and bin collections are regular and well organised.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has generally been responsive and helpful whenever I have raised any concerns. Communication has been clear, and they have taken issues seriously. There is currently a minor washing machine F1 error being looked into, but aside from that, the response and support have been good.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would say it’s useful to familiarise yourself with the appliances and building systems early on. Everything works well overall, but understanding how things operate from the start makes settling in even smoother. Apart from that, the move-in experience was positive and straightforward.
Manager's response5Thank you for your positive feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you’re enjoying the development, the quality of the building, and the convenience of the local area, as well as your experience with the on-site team.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
-Very prominent transport links with main axis bus stops in 3/4 cardinal directions within a 4-7 minute walk! (Extremely convenient) The only downside is the reliability of the First Bus network with this morning alone a late bus and 2 cancelled busses following. This is a consistent issue. -Local pubs in proximity to the accommodation with the closest one facing it on the opposite side of the main road. -gate-protected car park which is a huge advantage, especially in Bath where it is rare. -food shops on the main road and a 5-10 minute walk include Tesco express, Lidl, Marks and Spencer’s and Sainsbury’s which allows a huge range at the resident’s discretion. -bin collection in the residence is as easy as anything with a bin storage. - windows are glazed so absolutely no disturbance from the main road, no nuisance from that aspect. -i have not been the object or observer to any anti-social behaviour which is a huge plus.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Have had very little issue. One issue relating to piping was resolved within 24h as contractors were brought on site within hours of knowing. Very swift and mostly always updating the residents when there was an evolution on the situation, more than satisfied with problem-management here on the property.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
This question is unrelated to the property or its management but relates to energy bills. From the day your tenancy starts, even if you have not moved in yet, you are liable to pay for energy consumption through the previously contracted company by your predecessor tenant. This is at the fares and prices, without your inherent knowledge, of the previous contract which you have not to do with.
Manager's response5Thank you for your detailed and positive feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you’re enjoying the development, from the quality of the apartments and communal spaces through to the facilities, security, and overall management. It’s great to know the on-site team and contractors have been responsive and resolved issues quickly when needed.
