You will be required to pay one month's rent in advance on the tenancy start day £768.30. Please note our preferred method of payment is via Direct Debit and we accept and Universal Credit.
Please note if you intend to claim Housing Element of Universal Credit or there are service charges of up to £92.72pcm that would not be covered by these benefits. This includes £12.09pcm for administration, £68.85pcm for heating, £0.33pcm for a communal TV licence and £7.85pcm towards support.
Please note the rent and service charges will be confirmed at offer stage.
If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
Please be aware / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy. If you are a current private tenant, council tenant or a housing association tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months' notice. If you are a current tenant of Platform Housing Group, you will be required to give 4 weeks or 1 months' notice. You will only need to give notice if you have been informed that you are being considered/offered a property. If you have any further questions, please contact your landlord.
If you are successful in being offered this property you will be contacted by the Lettings Officer and you will need to complete an application form. At this stage the Lettings Officer will confirm the rent and service charges.
