The building is located on the edge of the historic centre of Barga. The building is semi detached; set on three floors above ground, as well as a basement and an attic.

The entrance, is from a principle piazza in the town, via the imposing front door we go on into a spacious entrance hall with a glass door, that in turn opens onto hallway with stone staircase that leads to the upper floors.

The ground floor has 2 former shops with there independent entrances, both can be accessed via the entrance hallway.

The house was born as a single property but was used as two apartments sharing the same stairwell.

First floor consists of a hallway with access to an internal balcony, kitchen with fireplace, large living room with doors that lead onto a pleasing external wrought iron balcony, a room used as a bedroom, as well as a walk -in closet and a small WC room on the mezzanine floor.

On the second floor there is a hallway, a room used as a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which with a walk-in closet area.

Attic: this floor has a large window with panoramic views.

Basement: these spaces can be accessed via an internal staircase and via an independent rear door, in the passed it was used for deliveries and servants.

The building is structurally in a very good state of repair; it still has many original elements such as the stone staircase, original tiles, coving, wrought ironwork, terracotta, attic with wooden beams and rafters, etc....

Internally the property needs some general maintenance work and there is no heating system.

All the rooms are particularly bright, most of the rooms enjoy pleasant views of the cathedral of Barga or the Apuan Alps.
