In the old days impressive land holdings, called Tenute, dotted the Marche countryside.  They were typically the province of wealthy landowners and they were almost always located in the most beautiful positions.  There's just such a place, close to Gualdo & Sarnano, that is a perfect example of the genre.  We call it La Tenuta di Gualdo.  La Tenuta is comprised of 3 individual residences in a complex in which each unit has private land with a common pool area, parking and entry.  Today, LA TORRETTA, the most architecturally interesting residence, is for sale with all the benefits of land, views and pool, without having to be a wealthy land holder and without the hassles and expense of owning a large villa!
