Description
Turning holiday accommodation on its head… what a wonderful setup and peaceful setting! Luxury log cabin, two delectable Shepherd Huts and Family Hut situated on the Isle of Anglesey, standing on a generous plot of some 0.4 of an Acre together with a purpose made parking area. Beautifully appointed and highly desirable.
You know that feeling of anticipation you get when you're about to head off on holiday, you know, when you're sitting at work dreaming of your chosen destination, the accommodation, the places you'll visit and see – if you could bottle that feeling, you'd be a rich person! Well, just feast your eyes on this: A Brand New Luxurious Chalet (recently added) and delectable Shepherd Huts situated in a wonderful peaceful setting on the Isle of Anglesey. Standing on a generous plot of some 0.43 of an Acre together with a purpose made parking area, Cwtch (a Welsh word which involves a real hearty hug!) is essentially two highly individual huts, affectionately known as Nain (Grandma) and Taid (Grandpa). Sandwiched between them is a further hut known as Teulu or Family in English – this additional space offers an expanded cooking and relaxation area together with a spacious decked patio. This arrangement has now been joined by a new chalet of generous proportions it has to be said and fully equipped and ready when you are. All in all, you'll be bowled over by the sheer quaintness and the attention to detail. The huts are based around an original 19th century hut design (by local craftsmen) to bring together traditional craftsmanship with the creature comforts and convenience of modern living. Charming through and through, each hut is built on an oak chassis with iron wheels (with secure ground anchors) and features solid oak glazing, under-floor heating, a kitchen area complete with granite worktop, inset hob, mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee machine – in fact, fully equipped and ready to go and needless to say, bathroom facilities are as modern and clean as you'd expect. To complete the picture, each hut has a purpose made wood burning stove and even features a reclaimed stained glass window for that special finishing touch. Cwtch borders an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is just under 1 mile from the coastline and a host of popular attractions whilst views are afforded from the locality towards the Snowdonia Mountains. This is most certainly a unique opportunity to acquire holiday accommodation with a difference – capture the excitement of camping whilst retaining home comforts…now that's glamping for you! Cwtch was also awarded the Visit Wales 'Gold' accreditation for its category of glamping in November 2018 – the highest accolade you can get in Visit Wales!
Cwtch is located within the lush countryside of Anglesey, being within walking distance of the foreshore of the Menai Strait where it opens out into the Irish Sea, providing superb coastal walks. The neighbouring village of Brynsiencyn is also within walking distance, offering local amenities and a pub. The unsurpassed Newborough forest and beach are a short drive to the west which includes the historic Llanddwyn Island, the main A4080 ensuring all the local beauty spots and historical sites can be reached with ease, including the A55 expressway and the city of Bangor located on the mainland. Anglesey is an interesting and historical island with some fantastic scenery and a hugely diverse coastline - a mixture of sandy beaches, rocky coves and dramatic cliffs offering much in the way of sailing and water sports together with the recently completed coastal path. With the backdrop of the Snowdonia mountain range to the south, this really is a beautiful corner of Wales.
