Villa Divisa is located near the historical centre of Caltagirone, an area in the metropolitan city of Catania that reflects the cultural and artistic charm of the eighteenth-century Baroque period. The distinctive feature of this place, which has been an UNESCO heritage site since 2002, is the colourful ceramics that adorn the public areas, offering its guests a great diversity of styles.

The nineteenth-century property, typical of the Sicilian aristocracy, covers about 2 hectares of land and features a majestic main villa, an annex and a lush Italian garden. The main villa is spread over three levels, and also features a small service mezzanine. The aspect that is common to all areas of the villa is the brightness it enjoys, thanks to its balconies and characteristic large windows.
The large, ancient door on the ground floor gives access to the area that was originally used for parking carriages, and which today houses a large hall from which you can enter the other rooms. The first floor houses the Celebrations Hall, a large triple room featuring finely decorated walls and ceilings, as well as floors with vintage maiolica detail. On the second floor we find the kitchen, the dining room and other home office rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms.

Behind the villa is a magnificent garden, enhanced by ornamental plants and a monumental fountain. Along a long tree-lined avenue, among the remains of ancient columns, there is an area originally dedicated to refreshment, with a table and stone benches.
The annex, which once constituted the homes of the service staff, is now used by the custodian of the villa and needs to be completely renovated.
