Soham has a varied selection of shops, doctor's surgery' post office, primary schools, Soham Village College, public houses, restaurants and a sports centre. There is a full range of shopping, schooling and sporting facilities in Ely with a mainline rail service to London Kings Cross and Cambridge. The A142 leads to the A14 for the M11. Barcham Road is a popular country lane with direct access onto the A142. There is a BP Garage with M & S Convenience Store under half a mile away. The new multi million pound Southern By Pass has hugely improved the traffic flow in Ely. there is a new retail development on the A142 to Ely approximately 3 miles away. An arboretum is being developed within Barcham with a walkway to Ely.

Outside
