The property benefits from a private heated swimming pool, summer kitchen, workshop, wood store, machine store, 300Mb fibre optic Internet, and an alarm system. The house has air-conditioning throughout as well as central heating radiators heated by a wood boiler with a 2,500 litre manual wood storage tank or automatically by a gas boiler for when no one is at home.

The house itself has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 WC, living room with fireplace and access to a glazed terrace, and a fitted kitchen. It is built with double-layer masonry and fibreglass wool insulation, while the roof in the attic is insulated with insulation boards.

There is also a pump with heat exchanger to heat the swimming pool in case of excess temperature in the heating accumulator. The 300-litre hot water tank is heated by 16m² solar panels or, if there is not enough solar energy, by a gas boiler (6 x 35kg gas bottles in the storage area outside the house). For the irrigation of the garden and fruit trees there is a groundwater pump, which automatically feeds a 16m³ water tank. The lawn and the plot are irrigated by a booster pump and automatic irrigation timers. The fruit trees are irrigated manually by a drip irrigation system.

Town Description: Alhaurín El Grande is a great place to live being strategically situated inland but only 20 minutes drive to the coast, so the house prices are generally cheaper than the same type of property down on the coast. There are easy access roads to Málaga and Fuengirola and if you don't want to drive, there are regular bus routes to and from the other towns and villages and even to the coast. The town has a good variety of quality restaurants and bars, public swimming pool, sports centre, several public schools, a lovely modern public library, a large public health centre on the top part of town and even a theatre. Due to the town's location, it is protected from the extremes in weather both in summer and in winter. Alhaurín has its fair share of public holidays including the annual town fair, 'on your bike day', and even a yearly marathon. If you are still learning Spanish and don't feel confident enough to try it out in the native bars and restaurants, there are several English-speaking ones too. For lovers of golf, the Alhaurín Golf resort and Hotel is just under a 10 minute drive away. It is just a 15 minute drive from the relatively new Guadalhorce Hospital, under 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the beaches.
