Dherynia is a large village next to the town of Paralimni surrounded by agricultural land, known as ‘Kokkinochoria’ as it is one of the red soil villages. The area is particularly famous for producing strawberries and holds a yearly ‘Strawberry Festival’. The village has grown over the years and you will find the type of amenities typical of a small town.
