The Skipper Inn occupies a roadside position on Drew Street, a working-class residential area one
mile from Brixham Harbour. The pub is nearby to St Mary's Park, St Mary's Church and Drew Street
allotment. Brixham is located in the borough of Torbay and as of the 2021 census has a population of
approximately 16,800. The town is one of the three main settlements in the borough, along with
Torquay and Paignton.

The Skipper is a mid-terraced grade II listed building believed to date from either the 17th or 18th
century. It has rendered exterior walls and is beneath a slate pitched roof. There are several single
storey extensions to the rear under a flat roof. It occupies a plot size of 0.153 of an acre.
