The nowadays popular coastal town of Olhão, the typical fishermans´ village of Fuzeta, inland towards Loulé and São Bras d´Alportel, it is all within 20 minutes drive. Within walking distance of 800 meters from the main road, there are two restaurants and a mini-supermarket.

The main house is entered via the large and inviting terrace with outdoor kitchen area providing great views over the country side. Upon entering we step into the fully equipped kitchen with lots of cupboard space. To the left we find the open plan dining room. From the dining room we have access to the large living room with built in storage cupboard and an absolute feature of a log burner giving enough heat for the whole of the main house. From the living room we enter the master bedroom with the spacious bathroom en-suite. The living room is also openly connected with a study area. Use of electricity is low since photovoltaic panels were installed to support the usage in the main house with the newly installed airconditioning units for instance. The complementary furniture suiting the character of the property is included in the sale!

Access via outside, we find a separate bedroom with bathroom en-suite, a laundry room as well as a large storage cupboard that formerly gave access to the rest of the main house. This annex has been adapted for people with reduced mobility (wheelchair accessible).

Going up a flight of stairs on the outside, we find the fully self contained apartment with large bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and living room. Also a south facing terrace with sea view is part of this great annex! Again; all furniture and kitchen equipment is included.

The pool has a salt water system, was built in 2020 and measures 5 x 10 meters. It was built above ground with a lot of (storage) space underneath, giving access to all the plumbing and pumproom. The poolpump runs on electricity by solar panels so can run without costs during the day when it is most needed. A large carport was built alongside but out of sight of the pool terrace, making clever use of the natural sloping land.

The house is accessible via a short dirt track of 600 meters from the tarmac road. A large electric double gate opens up to the property where all the paths have recently been paved with the typical Portuguese ´calçadas´. A separate parking area has been created with a second carport for 3 cars. Also uncovered parking spaces have been appointed with P signs to avoid random parking on the land.

The land consists of 4 adjoining and slightly sloping plots, all with their own registration number. Olive trees, carob trees, almond trees, medronho bushes, cacti and succulents grow naturally on the majority of the land and do not need any care like watering. Surrounding the house, the garden is landscaped with automatic irrigation via a cistern that holds up to 40.000m3 of water. There is a fully fenced chicken and duck area (daily fresh eggs!), fruit trees like tangerines, lemons and oranges as well as a vegetable garden.
