Description

What the owner loves :
We bought Endsleigh Road in 1991, thirty-two years ago. Like it still is today, West London was growing and, if you’re lucky, affordable for couples starting families. Though dusty and time-worn, the house endeared itself to me; snug and safe in the bend of a quiet street, and with a big garden, it seemed a perfect place for myself and my partner to start a family.

Years of re-decorating and renovating turned the house into a cosy haven, the arrival of the children turned it into a home. The garden has always been our sanctuary, evolving from a children’s play area into a country garden. Watching them play and grow up here has been one of the greatest joys in my life.

The children, now adults, had happy childhoods in Ealing, attending Fielding Primary School and then Elthorne High School, both within walking or cycling distance. The high street is even closer, boasting a Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and a post office, to name a few. With the Piccadilly line, Central line, District line and now The Elizabeth line, the transport links here are exceptional.

Sadly, it’s time for me to leave Endsleigh Road and return to the country. I’ll miss my garden, but I hope it’ll provide as much joy to the next inhabitants as it gave my family. Every plant has a story and I hope they too enjoy the Forsythia in spring and the roses in the summer. Watching the sunset from the patios is truly beautiful.
